Noordpolderweg turns into MD Teenstraweg, You are now driving on the so-called Middendijk. This dike was constructed after the great Christmas flood of 1717 from 1718 onwards. On the left is the Noordpolder, the largest polder in Groningen. Reclaimed from 1811 with the construction of the Noorderdijk.
